New Website for Parents

The American Academy of Pediatrics has launched a new website for parents at http://www.healthychildren.org/. The AAP is made up of over 60,000 pediatricians across the country that are committed to providing the latest and most reliable information to parents. Registration is quick and the cost is free!

HealthyChildren.org covers a broad range of topics from prenatal to adulthood. You can also ask specific questions and receive a response from a physician. New parents will find it especially helpful to find information on everything from diaper rash to developmental stages. Parents whose child has a special need will find this site very information on your child’s specific condition. Parents of school age children will find tips on everything from parent-teacher conferences to dealing with the influence of social media sites.
